Part A — Experience Webinars & Companion Guide

This part applies to the free online Experience webinars and the optional paid Companion Guide. It does not apply to enrolment in the Hypnosis Practitioner Academy, which is covered in Part B below.

A1. Definitions

• "Provider," "we," or "us" means Carole Anne Cowper CH, MCMA, operating as The CA Reset, 6-14845 Yonge St, Suite 554, Aurora ON L4G 6H8.
• "Experience" means a free, live online educational webinar or series of webinars offered by the Provider, delivered by video conferencing (such as Zoom).
• "Registrant," "you," or "your" means a person who registers to attend an Experience.
• "Companion Guide" means the optional paid digital workbook made available in connection with an Experience.
• "Guide Fee" means the price of the Companion Guide as published at the point of purchase, in Canadian Dollars.

A2. Registration for the Experience

The Experience is free to attend. Registration is required, and your place is confirmed by the registration confirmation email, which includes the joining link. A place and joining link are for the named Registrant and are not to be shared. The Provider may limit the number of Registrants and may close registration at any time.

A3. Nature of the Experience — Educational, Not Therapy

The Experience is educational and informational. It is designed to help you understand and notice how hypnosis works, and to introduce the practitioner methodology taught in the Academy. It is not therapy, counselling, medical or psychological treatment, or advice, and it is not a substitute for professional care.

The Provider practises and teaches as a hypnosis practitioner. The Provider does not diagnose, treat, or offer to cure any medical or psychological condition. Nothing in the Experience should be relied upon in place of advice from an appropriately qualified professional. Participation is voluntary and at your own discretion, and if you have any health concern you should consult a qualified professional.

A4. Recordings and Replays

The Provider may record the Experience for delivery, quality, and educational purposes. By attending, you consent to being recorded to the extent you participate by voice, video, or chat, and you agree that the Provider owns those recordings. Registrants may not themselves record, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Experience.

Replays of an Experience, where offered, are made available only to purchasers of the Companion Guide, for as long as the Provider continues to host them, and are for personal use only.

A5. Changes, Cancellation, or Postponement

The Experience is a free offering. The Provider may change the schedule, format, content, or platform of an Experience, or may reschedule or cancel it, at its discretion. Because the Experience is provided free of charge, the Provider has no financial liability to Registrants for any such change, and accepts no responsibility for any costs you may incur in connection with attending. Where reasonable, the Provider will give notice of significant changes by email.

A6. The Companion Guide (Paid Digital Product)

A6.1 Purchase and price. The Companion Guide is an optional paid digital product. The Guide Fee is as published at the point of purchase, in Canadian Dollars, and payment is processed securely via Stripe. Applicable taxes are treated as shown at checkout.

A6.2 Delivery. The Companion Guide is delivered digitally, by email, and may be provided in parts over the course of the Experience. Access is provided to the email address used at purchase. It is your responsibility to provide a valid email address and to check your spam or promotions folder if it does not arrive.

A6.3 Refunds. Because the Companion Guide is a digital product delivered electronically, it is non-refundable once delivery has begun, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. If you experience any problem accessing the Companion Guide, contact caroleanne@thecareset.com and we will help put it right.

A6.4 Licence and permitted use. The Companion Guide is licensed to you for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may print it for your personal use. You may not copy, share, resell, redistribute, publish, or use it to create or deliver your own materials. Any replays provided with the Companion Guide are subject to the same restrictions.

A7. Intellectual Property

All content of the Experience and the Companion Guide — including text, design, images, and structure — is owned by the Provider or its licensors and is protected by copyright. The underlying hypnosis practitioner methodology is credited to the Hypnosis Practitioner Academy by Ali Campbell, which the Provider is authorised to teach. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property to you beyond the limited personal licence in Clause A6.4.

A8. Conduct

The Experience is a shared, respectful learning environment. The Provider may mute, remove, or decline re-entry to any participant whose conduct is disruptive, offensive, or incompatible with that environment, without refund of any Companion Guide fee.

A9. Communications and Consent

By registering, you agree to receive emails relating to the Experience and the Companion Guide, including reminders, joining links, replays, and related offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. If you provide a mobile number, you agree to receive reminder messages about the Experience (for example by SMS or WhatsApp), and you can opt out at any time.

A10. Privacy and Data

Personal information you provide, such as your name, email address, and any mobile number, is used to administer the Experience, deliver the Companion Guide, and communicate with you. It is handled in accordance with the Provider's Privacy Policy at thecareset.com/privacy-policy. Email is delivered through third-party providers, and payment is processed by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy.

A11. Limitation of Liability (Experience & Companion Guide)

The Experience and the Companion Guide are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Provider's total liability to you in connection with the Experience is limited (the Experience being free of charge), and its total liability in connection with the Companion Guide is limited to the Guide Fee you paid. The Provider is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any decision or action you take based on the educational content. Participation is at your own risk.

Part B — Hypnosis Practitioner Academy (Training)

This part applies only to enrolment in the five-day Hypnosis Practitioner Academy. It does not apply to the free Experience or the Companion Guide, which are covered in Part A above.

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

• "Course Schedule" means the table headed "Course Schedule" in Clause 2 of these Terms, which sets out the details specific to the current intake. Where a defined term below refers to a value "set out in the Course Schedule," the value in that table applies.
• "Course" means the Hypnosis Practitioner Academy by Ali Campbell, delivered by Carole Anne Cowper over five (5) days on the Course Dates and at the Venue set out in the Course Schedule.
• "Course Dates" means the dates on which the Course runs, as set out in the Course Schedule. "Course Start Date" means the first of those dates and "Course End Date" means the last.
• "Venue" means the venue set out in the Course Schedule.
• "Trainer" means Carole Anne Cowper CH, MCMA, operating as The CA Reset, 6-14845 Yonge St, Suite 554, Aurora ON L4G 6H8.
• "Participant" means the individual who has enrolled in the Course and made payment.
• "Course Fee" means the fee for the Course as published on the Training enrolment page at thecareset.com/training at the time of the Participant's enrolment, inclusive of HST. The Course Fee may vary between intakes and may be subject to promotional pricing at the Trainer's discretion.
• "Two-Payment Plan Deadline," "Cooling-Off Deadline," and "Founding Cohort Deadline" mean the respective dates set out in the Course Schedule.
• "Ucation" means the online platform operated by Ali Campbell through which course certification and administration is processed (ucation.com).
• "Ucation Enrolment Fee" means the fee of GBP £200 payable to Ucation per Participant, remitted on the Participant's behalf by the Trainer upon enrolment.
• "First Payment Date" means the date on which the Participant's initial payment is processed.

2. Course Schedule

This table sets out the details specific to the current intake and is the only section that changes between intakes. All other clauses refer back to the values below.

3. Enrolment

Places are strictly limited to the maximum class size set out in the Course Schedule and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of payment.

Payment of your first instalment or full payment constitutes a binding agreement to attend the Course and your acceptance of these Training Terms and Conditions in full.

Enrolment is not confirmed until acknowledged in writing by the Trainer.

4. Fees and Payment Options

All fees are in Canadian Dollars (CAD), inclusive of HST. Payment is processed securely via Stripe.

The applicable Course Fee is as published on the Training enrolment page at thecareset.com/training at the time the Participant enrols. Two payment options are available:

• Pay in Full: the full Course Fee, due at the time of enrolment.
• Two-Payment Plan: two equal instalments of the Course Fee, the first due at the time of enrolment and the second auto-charged two weeks after the First Payment Date. By selecting this option, the Participant authorises The CA Reset to charge the second instalment on that date.

The two-payment plan is available for enrolments made on or before the Two-Payment Plan Deadline set out in the Course Schedule. For enrolments made after the Two-Payment Plan Deadline, full payment is the only option available.

Failure to pay the second instalment when due will result in forfeiture of all amounts paid and cancellation of enrolment. The Participant's place will be released.

5. Ucation Platform and Enrolment Fee

Certification and course administration is managed through the Ucation platform (ucation.com). As part of enrolment, a Ucation Enrolment Fee of GBP £200 is payable to Ucation. This fee is included in the total Course Fee and is remitted to Ucation on the Participant's behalf by the Trainer upon enrolment. The CAD equivalent is calculated at the prevailing GBP/CAD exchange rate on the date of remittance.

Where the Ucation Enrolment Fee has been remitted prior to cancellation, it will be refunded in applicable cancellation scenarios at the prevailing GBP/CAD exchange rate on the date written cancellation notice is received by the Trainer. Refundability in each scenario is set out in Clause 7.

By enrolling, the Participant acknowledges and agrees that their enrolment details will be shared with Ucation for the purposes of processing and administering the course registration. Ucation may contact the Participant to deliver course-related information and important service communications. Ucation's own terms of service apply to the Participant's use of their platform.

6. Cooling-Off Period

For enrolments made on or before the Cooling-Off Deadline set out in the Course Schedule, a voluntary 10-day cooling-off period applies from the First Payment Date. The Participant may cancel within this period by providing written notice to caroleanne@thecareset.com and receive a full refund of all amounts paid, including the Ucation Enrolment Fee where already remitted (calculated at the prevailing GBP/CAD exchange rate on the date of cancellation notice), less any non-recoverable Stripe payment processing fees.

For enrolments made after the Cooling-Off Deadline, no cooling-off period applies. All payments are non-refundable from the date of first payment.

7. Cancellation by Participant

All cancellation notices must be submitted in writing to caroleanne@thecareset.com. The date of cancellation is the date the written notice is received.

7.1 Cancellation After Cooling-Off Period

• Cancellation more than 45 days before the Course Start Date: full refund of amounts paid, less the Ucation Enrolment Fee where already remitted (at prevailing GBP/CAD rate on date of cancellation notice) and less any non-recoverable Stripe payment processing fees.
• Cancellation 45 days or less before the Course Start Date: no refund. All amounts paid are forfeited, including the Ucation Enrolment Fee.

7.2 Transfer of Enrolment to Another Person

A Participant may transfer their enrolment to a suitable replacement individual, subject to the following conditions:

• Written notice of the requested transfer must be received by the Trainer no later than 5 working days prior to the Course Start Date.
• The replacement individual must agree to these Terms and Conditions in writing prior to the transfer being confirmed.
• The Trainer reserves the right to decline a transfer if the replacement is not considered a suitable candidate.
• The original Participant remains liable for all amounts due until the transfer is confirmed in writing by the Trainer.
• One transfer per enrolment is permitted.

7.3 Transfer to a Future Course

Where a future course date is available, the Trainer may at their sole discretion offer a transfer of enrolment. Any such transfer is subject to written agreement between the Participant and the Trainer. If no future course runs within 12 months of the original Course Start Date, or a transfer is not agreed, no refund is payable.

8. Cancellation or Postponement by the Trainer

The Trainer reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Course due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including insufficient enrolment, venue unavailability, trainer illness, or force majeure events.

In the event of cancellation by the Trainer, Participants will receive a full refund of all amounts paid, including the Ucation Enrolment Fee where already remitted. The Trainer's liability is limited to the amount paid by the Participant. No liability is accepted for travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred.

Where the Course is postponed, Participants will be offered the option to transfer to the rescheduled date or receive a full refund.

9. Venue

The Course is scheduled to take place at the Venue set out in the Course Schedule. The Trainer reserves the right to change the venue to an alternative location within Newmarket or York Region if circumstances require.

Participants will be given as much notice as reasonably possible in the event of a venue change. A venue change to an alternative location within Newmarket or York Region does not constitute a cancellation of the Course and does not entitle the Participant to a refund.

In the event that it is not possible to secure an alternative venue within Newmarket or York Region, the provisions of Clause 8 (Cancellation or Postponement by the Trainer) will apply.

10. Post-Training Support and Final Assessment

10.1 Ongoing Support, Community, and Founding Cohort Benefit

Included support. Your development continues beyond the five-day Course. Each Participant receives ongoing online learning and support, delivered as live group question-and-answer and practice sessions with mentoring, held approximately every two weeks throughout the year, with the exception of the months of July and August and the period from December 15 to January 8 (inclusive). These sessions support the Participant in completing their final assessment and in developing confidence in practice. The scheduling, timing, and format of sessions are set by the Trainer and may be adjusted from time to time, and attendance is optional.

Continuation of sessions. These ongoing sessions run on the principle that, for as long as Participants consistently attend, the Trainer will continue to hold them. The sessions are subject to a minimum level of attendance determined by the Trainer, and their schedule, timing, format, frequency, and availability may be varied, suspended, or discontinued at the Trainer's sole discretion where attendance is not sustained.

Practitioner community. As a graduate, each Participant remains part of The CA Reset's private practitioner community (currently hosted as a private Facebook group), subject to the community guidelines, so that they are always supported. The Trainer may moderate, change the platform for, or discontinue the community at its discretion.

Founding Cohort benefit (enrolments on or before the Founding Cohort Deadline). Participants who enrol on or before the Founding Cohort Deadline set out in the Course Schedule (the "Founding Cohort") additionally receive, as a complimentary benefit that does not form part of the paid Course Fee, one private one-to-one session with the Trainer of approximately 45 to 60 minutes, offered following certification and focused on the Participant's first steps in practice. This benefit is offered at the Trainer's discretion.

All support sessions, the one-to-one session, and community access are educational and practice-focused and do not constitute clinical supervision, oversight, or professional indemnity.

10.2 Assessment Requirements

Certification is conditional upon successful completion of a practical final assessment. The assessment consists of a recorded hypnosis session submitted via email as an audio file of no more than 100MB to the Trainer. The assessment is marked by the Trainer using a marking schedule provided by Ucation.

Participants are recommended to submit their first assessment attempt within 60 days of the final day of the Course. Failure to submit within this period may result in the marking of the assessment being delayed. Once the assessment has been marked as a pass, notification goes to Ucation.

10.3 Assessment Attempts

Each Participant is entitled to two assessment attempts included within the Course Fee. Written feedback will be provided after each attempt.

Where a Participant does not pass on either of their two included attempts, additional attempts are available at a fee of CAD $150 per attempt, payable in advance. Additional attempt fees are non-refundable.

10.4 Certification

The certificate, which is required to become accredited by the Complementary Medical Association (CMA) and the International Association of Counsellors and Therapists (IACT), will be issued by Ucation upon successful completion of the final assessment. Completion of the five-day Course alone does not confer certification.

11. Attendance and Conduct

Full attendance at all five days of the Course is required for certification. Participants who do not complete all five days may not be eligible for certification at the discretion of the Trainer and Ucation.

Participants are expected to engage respectfully and professionally throughout the Course. The Trainer reserves the right to remove any Participant whose conduct is disruptive, disrespectful, or incompatible with the learning environment. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.

Meals are not included. Participants are responsible for their own lunch and evening meals throughout the Course.

Personal travel and cancellation insurance is strongly recommended. The Trainer accepts no liability for costs arising from travel disruption, illness, or other circumstances preventing attendance.

12. Recording Policy

Audio and video recording of any part of the Course by Participants is strictly prohibited.

The Trainer may record sessions for quality assurance and safety purposes only. Such recordings will not be shared with Participants or third parties.

Demonstration recordings may only be shared with the explicit verbal agreement of all parties involved, stated on the recording itself.

13. Ontario Regulatory Compliance and Scope of Practice

Upon completion of the Course, graduates are responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable legislation governing the practice of hypnosis in their jurisdiction.

In Ontario, the Regulated Health Professions Act 1991 and the Psychotherapy Act 2007 govern certain aspects of practice. Graduates are advised to familiarise themselves with these legislative requirements before commencing practice. The Trainer does not provide legal advice and this Course does not constitute legal or regulatory guidance.

14. Intellectual Property and Branding

All course materials, content, and methodology are the intellectual property of Ali Campbell and/or Ucation. Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or use course materials for commercial purposes without express written permission.

Upon completion, Participants are permitted to use the certification title and display the certificate PDF issued by Ucation. Participants may not use any Ucation or Ali Campbell trademarks, logos, or branding without approved assets provided in writing by Ucation.

15. Privacy and Data

Personal data collected during enrolment will be used to administer the Course and communicate with the Participant. Data will be shared with Ucation for the purposes of course administration and certification. The Trainer's Privacy Policy is available at thecareset.com/privacy-policy.

By enrolling, the Participant consents to their enrolment details being shared with Ucation in accordance with Ucation's own privacy policy.

16. Limitation of Liability

The Trainer's liability to the Participant is limited in all circumstances to the total amount paid by the Participant for the Course. The Trainer is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss arising from attendance at or non-attendance at the Course.

Attendance at the Course is at the Participant's own risk. The Trainer accepts no responsibility for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the Course.

17. Amendments

The Trainer reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. Any amendments will be communicated to enrolled Participants in writing. The current version is always available at thecareset.com/training-terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario. This governing law applies to both Part A and Part B.
