Comprehensive Course Handbook

You will receive a comprehensive course manual designed to support your self-study and provide the additional reading and reflection time required by IACT for accreditation. This is your go-to reference — packed with practical tools and proven techniques to revisit long after the course ends.

Six Months of Ongoing Support

Your development continues beyond the five days with six months of ongoing live support — one call per month, delivered online. These sessions are designed to support your final assessment preparation and build your confidence as you begin working with clients.

before they enrol.

Do I need any prior experience or qualifications?
None at all. The course is designed to take you from curious beginner to certified practitioner over five intensive days. What you bring is an open mind and a genuine desire to help people. Everything else is taught.
How does the final assessment work?
Certification is not awarded simply for attending — you are required to submit and pass a final practical assessment. This consists of a recorded hypnosis session submitted as an audio file. The assessment is marked by your trainer using a marking schedule provided by Ucation. Two attempts are included within the course fee, with written feedback provided after each. Once you pass, Ucation will contact you to process your certification.
What certification will I receive, and is it recognised?
On completion you will receive your official certification, recognized by both the Complementary Medical Association (CMA) and the International Association of Counsellors and Therapists (IACT). Legislation regarding hypnosis differs in different provinces and states. Please make sure that you understand the requirements of the location you will be working in. Where does the training take place, and when?
The course takes place over five full days at the Best Western Hotel, 17565 Yonge Street, Newmarket, Ontario — Sunday September 13 to Thursday September 17, 2026. Newmarket is easily accessible from Toronto and the surrounding region.
Why only 10 students? Most courses take far more.
Because this is not most courses. In a cohort of 40 or 50 people, you watch more than you do. In a group of 10, you practise constantly. You get individual feedback, real supervision, and the kind of personal attention that turns knowledge into confidence. By day two you will know your cohort well. Breakthroughs get proper time and space. Nothing gets glossed over.
What are the payment options?

What is the cancellation and cooling-off policy?

Is there actually demand for this kind of work in Canada?

The Fraser Institute’s most comprehensive survey found that 79 percent of Canadians have used a complementary or alternative therapy in their lifetime, and 56 percent used one in the previous twelve months alone. Canadians spent $8.8 billion on complementary health care in 2015–2016 — and that figure has grown every year since.
